CREATIVE DIRECTOR AND DESIGNER

ilse is head of the department of man and well-being at the DESIGN ACADEMY EINDHOVEN, author of two books and regularly speaks at international events. she has created the vision for the soho house brand, has worked across product development and regeneration as vice president of DONNA KARAN HOME and as creative director of the SWAROVSKI CRYSTAL PALACE project where she brought together visionary designers to reinvent the chandelier, showing in paris, milan and new york.

prior to this, ilse was launch editor of BARE magazine, which connected design, health, clothes, travel and founding editor of ELLE DECORATION UK, where she demystified design and brought high standards, modernity and fresh ideas to a wider audience.

ilse has been named one of britain's 30 most influential women by harper bazaar in the power issue, 'with a knack for defining the way we want to live'.
